So-called Nuremberg chest or officer's, privateer's or marine's chest with a complex locking mechanism and multiple attachment points; the closure is also secure thanks to one or two padlocks on hasps on the front. Wrought and clad iron chest. End of the seventeenth, beginning of the eighteenth century.
