Vintage albumen print Casa Pesaro in Venice, Italy This sumptuous palace built in the second half of the 17th century by the Pesaro family is today the headquarters of the Galleria Internazionale d'Arte Moderna. Format 25.7 x 35.5 cm under 40 x50 cm mat Carlo Naya (1816-1882) is one of the pioneers of photography in Italy. After studying law in Pisa, he settled in Venice in St Mark's Square to open one of the largest establishments dedicated to photography of his time.
