Empire style portico clock in white marble and gilded bronzes. The base is mounted on a bronze base on which are erected two columns flanked by gilded bronze caryatids and supporting the dial. The mechanism has on the back the words "Marti et Cie, silver medal, 1899" At the top, on each side a marble and bronze firepot. Symbol of the Empire, an eagle with outstretched wings of imposing dimensions overlooks the clock, 27.7cm in wingspan. This one has a particularly fine and detailed carving, the gilded finish with fine gold. Requires servicing/adjustment. Dimensions: Height 44cm Width 28.7cm Depth 13cm Other photos will be added later
