Old Tabriz, 202 X 310 Cm, Hand-knotted Wool In Iran At The Beginning Of The 20th Century, Rare Model

A beautiful old piece as I like to unearth them, this very beautiful Tabriz decorated with fifteen mihrabs, has an exceptional patina.
The soft and fine wool that makes it up keeps its magnificent colors, blues, reds, greens, wine lees, curry, layered or haloed with ivory causing striking contrasts.
This rug measures 202 cm wide by 310 cm long, remains in very good condition, its slight wear is widespread and gives it an incomparable side. The fringes are short, the edges in good condition, the velvet slightly worn evenly.
An old restoration is present, but well done. Carpet from the 1900s-1920s, it still has many years ahead of it as a living room or entrance hall carpet, the carpets support the large, even very large passage, but on the wall, this piece placed in a large hall or a living room, would take all its strength.
