"Painting The Servant By Louis Maris Baader Morlaix"
Portrait of a servant by Louis-Marie Baader, born in Lannion on June 20, 1828 and died in Morlaix on December 2, 1920. Louis-Marie Baader was admitted to the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris in 1848. He debuted at the Salon of 1857. From then on, he exhibited there almost every year until 1914, obtaining a medal in 1866 for Héro et Léandre and a 3rd class medal in 1874 for La Gloire posthume, which allowed him to sell numerous paintings to the State.
It is present at the Morlaix museum.
Good condition. A lack on the old frame.
Very beautiful execution.
