Beautiful bowl with display decorated with garlands of Roses, motifs by Louis Damon and Daum glassware. In the purest art-nouveau style, this pretty meloné glass bowl, typical of Daum production from the 1890s, is finely decorated with enamel garlands of roses, winding around 2 blue threads. The cup is embellished by a large square display displaying the decoration on the edges. The whole is also enhanced with gold on the edges. At this time, Louis Damon ordered his glassware (also called "white") from Daum, starting in 1889. He then decorated them in his store on Boulevard Malsherbes in Paris. This shape, this ribbed appearance (called "melonné") is typical of the illustrious glassware, there is no doubt about its origin.
