Large sofa stamped Meunier. 18th century period. In molded beech and carved with flowers and foliage, resting on eight arched legs. Arched bedside tables with cuffs. Upholstery in brocaded velvet with flower and foliage pattern. Deep and comfortable seat. Good general condition. Dimensions: length - 192cm height - 94cm depth - 90cm. Certificate of authenticity.

Pierre Meunier French cabinetmaker received master in 1767 practiced rue de la Roquette, then rue du Faubourg Saint-Antoine. He made among other things, furniture for Mrs. Marie-Thérèse Rodet Geoffrin, salonnière and letter writer of the 18th century.
