Gallant Party Scene In The Street Oil On Canvas And Its Frame By Gabriel Griffon (1866-1938)

Beautiful oil on canvas in its gold leaf frame, signed lower right by French painter Gabriel GRIFFON (1866-1938). This painting may depict a Venetian ball scene, or at least, when viewed from the outside, a scene of joy, dancing and music typical of fêtes galantes. The application of the paint is typical of Griffon, as is his color palette.

Condition: Canvas: perfect condition
Frame: missing gilding (see last 4 photos as examples).
