"Vase" mantel clock, French production from the Napoleon III period, circa 1880-1890. Made of gilded bronze and royal porcelain from the Sèvres factory, decorated with gilding. The clock is beautifully shaped, with lion head applications on the sides. Porcelain dial, hand painted, with a floral motif. The clock is fully functional. Signed on the dial and the mechanism plate - "S. WARTENBERG, PARIS"
