Athenian mahogany and flamed mahogany veneer in a cylindrical shape, resting on three columns decorated with gilded bronze, supporting a Paris porcelain basin, white and gold; Followed by a shelf with circular compartments that can accommodate porcelain or crystal pots. Finally, the Paris porcelain ewer sits on a mahogany base topped with a small black Flanders granite. Beautiful ornamentation of chiseled and gilded bronzes, the basin and its ewer in Paris porcelain, white and gold, are of good quality with a beautiful, very fresh gilding. Ideal to complete an Empire decor but also Louis XVI. Rare piece of furniture, often sold incomplete and/or topped with marble. The whole has been completely restored and is presented to you as it might have been more than two hundred years ago.
