"Rare And Beautiful Stepladder Chair"
Rare and beautiful library chair convertible into a four-step ladder. This painted beech seat is in perfect joinery condition, solid, it may be suitable for its use as a stepladder. The green and white paint, although chipped, gives a much appreciated charm for lovers of seats "in their own juice". We can also note the magnificent fiery sculpture and great finesse of execution. This seat, inspired by the south of France or northern Italy, in the Louis XV style, was probably made around 1850. Height of the stepladder: 90 cm.
