This 19th century brooch from the Napoleon III period features three sculpted kittens, very expressive and realistic in their postures, on a horizontally chiseled barrette. Below, a ribbon reproduces a garland motif very present on jewelry from this period, punctuated by a fine pearl in a moving tassel. The brooch is in 750/°° yellow gold (18 KT, owl hallmark). Its format makes it very adaptable to wear.
