Exceptional, original and very fine Ghoum rug made of silk velvet on natural silk foundations, warps, weft and fringes. Signed Ghoum. Imperial workshop Age: period of the Shah, circa 1965 Characterized by a golden beige field with original decoration of hunters and warriors stylized in polychrome, surrounded by animals, richly flowered trees of life and multicolored flowering plants. Triple borders, the main of which is old gold with animal decoration and a composition of finely drawn polychrome floral bulbs. Dimensions: 195 x 134 cm. Density: approximately 11,000 to 12,000 knots per dm2
