Impressive silvered bronze centerpiece, late 19th century, France. From this vine "grow" three arms, ending in removable flat containers in the shape of shells, which may indicate the original destination of the object, which, in addition to its decorative function, could be used to serve oysters or other seafood. The vine continues to climb upwards, wrapping around the crystal glass insert, which can be used to beautifully display the flowers.
