Important bronze sculpture by Paul Ponsard (Raincy1882 -Vauquoy 1915) French artist stone sculptor, student at the Beaux-Arts in Paris of Injalbert and Mathurin Moreau. He appeared at the Salon des Artistes Français and received the 2nd prize of Rome for the sculpture "The young Sophocles after the victory of Salamis". Slight alterations to the patina.
