Pretty pair of decorative oval-shaped dishes with scalloped outlines representing a couple of Breton characters dressed in their traditional costumes. Each character rests on a terrace between two exuberant shingles of bright colors, red, blue and green. The man wears his round hat, his large stick called "Penn-Bazh" as well as his traditional wide short, baggy breeches called "Bragou-Braz". The woman, for her part, wears her apron as well as a traditional headdress. The wing of each dish is decorated with a hand-crafted decoration representing a garland of stylized foliage. The outline is decorated with a small blue net. The inscription HR Quimper is inscribed in the decor under the terrace, this brand was used by the Henriot factory for the period from 1904 to 1922.
