André Paccard (1929-1985): “End of sofa”, wood of different species, 59 X 59 X 41 cm, circa 1955/60, bears the original label “André Paccard Annecy”. Used condition, to be rewaxed. Artist, interior designer, decorator, historian of Islamic arts in Morocco in works that are still a reference, he is also known for having renewed the decor of the Mamounia in Marrakech as well as countless buildings throughout Morocco . This end table, archetype of the “reconstruction” style, with its asymmetrical arrowhead legs and its flat joint top in two alternating colors will delight fans of the fifties style.
