Pair of paintings painted on mahogany, representing a young shepherd daydreaming, leaning on his staff, and a young woman scaling a fish in an interior, probably a kitchen. These genre scenes are signed A.RICHARD at the bottom left. French school. Antoine RICHARD, born in Châlon sur Saone, was a student of P. Cogniet, he started at the Salon of 1859. The Reims museum preserves "a washerwoman" from him, legacy of JP Lundy, 188th (25x15) Period gilded frame 37x28
