"Ferdinand Liebermann (1883-1941) “latin”, Rosenthal Porcelain (1910)"
Allegorical porcelain edition sculpture by Rosenthal entitled ''LATIN'', herald of the Art Deco style. This humorous and sarcastic subject by the German sculptor, Ferdinand Liebermann (January 15, 1883 - November 28, 1941) from 1910, by the Bavarian factory, with grand feu polychrome decoration, under cover, represents a naked exotic native in a seated position, legs extended, teaching with conviction the Latin with two parrots, one, diligent, repeating on his right hand, and the other, very attentive, on his left shoulder.
This subject praised the manufacture, see the illustrated newspaper of 1911.
