"Georges Nowak Art Nouveau Showcase Buffet With Vine, Grape, Mahogany, 1900 Period, Nancy"
Superb dining room furniture forming a buffet and display case in solid mahogany and veneer by Georges Nowak. It is from the Art Nouveau period with this very particular and recognizable style. It is richly carved with vine branches and grapes on the doors and the tops of the uprights of the central part. It opens onto two high side doors, each revealing 3 shelves with adjustable height. The lower part opens with two doors onto a shelf and two large drawers above. A flat part with a mirror at the bottom to display objects and a display part at the top with a height-adjustable glass shelf. The side parts disassemble for transport and installation. Grape-chiseled bronze handles and keyholes. Fairly good house condition, the mahogany is waxed, some stains on the wood. No apparent signature, Nancy school. We have the matching marble top server in our gallery. Art Nouveau period around 1900. Delivery by carrier on pallet to the ground floor in front of your home (the sides dismantled and the central body in one piece), 500 euros in France, 1500 euros in the EU and 3000 euros rest of the world.
