Suzanne Lenglen was born in Paris on May 24, 1899. She revolutionized women's tennis by introducing a more aggressive style of play and wearing lighter outfits. Lenglen won six Grand Slam titles in singles and 10 in mixed doubles during her career. She also won three gold medals at the 1920 Olympic Games in Antwerp. Her career was marked by exceptional dominance and she became a sporting icon. Suzanne Lenglen died in 1938 at the age of 39.
