"Pitcher Alain Blanchard For Kéraluc"
Large enameled ceramic pitcher decorated with geometric patterns, signed Blanchard on the bottom and annotated Pi7, for Kéraluc in Brittany. Alain Blanchard, contemporary artist, worked for the Keraluc earthenware factory which is a Quimper earthenware company created in 1946 by the ceramic engineer Victor Lucas and active until 1984. Its original style and search for modernity distinguish it from the traditional Quimper earthenware. It has allowed many artists to create original pieces. In 1984, the company and the models were bought by the HB-Henriot earthenware factory, which now owns the Keraluc brand. Height 29cm width 18.5cm diameter 13.5cm
