"Gilt Bronze Lantern From The Louis XVI Period"
Beautiful gilded bronze lantern from the Louis XVI period. Circular model with four curved glasses, with door. It is supported by four sinuous arms with scrollwork. It has uprights in the shape of fluted pilasters, a gallery base with balusters, small pine cone feet. It is decorated with scraps of pearls, rosettes and ponpons. Old gilding. The three-light bronze lantern is later than the model. (modification of the upper attachment) French work (probably Parisian) from the end of the 18th century
