"Louis XVI Chest Of Drawers"
Beautiful high quality Louis XVI chest of drawers from the end of the 18th century in flamed mahogany opening with three drawers in three rows, the top one simulating three small drawers. Rich decoration of gilded brass plates, on each side a fluted column with brass ending in spinning top feet. Pretty scrolled white marble top, period and original. Sides decorated with brass plates and rods, cloverleaf locks, a key. This oak mounted chest of drawers is of very good quality of execution, same provenance as the roll top desk posted online yesterday, moreover we find on the chest of drawers the same ebony fillets as on the desk.
