Westerwald
17th and 19th century
A Westerwald stoneware caster on high foot with an egg-shaped body and pewter screw top. Some profiles on the neck and foot. Partially covered with cobalt blue. Acorns stamped on the belly saved in a blue background. Originally this was a Westerwald funnel cup and in the 19th century altered into a spicecaster.
The object is in good condition with some chips to the foot.
