Oil on canvas Italian school. Mid-18th century period. Animated landscape of characters. Below, in the center, the main scene takes place: a side-saddle rider on her white horse asks a shepherd for directions and pays him. On the left side other shepherds and shepherdesses watch over sheep and a goat at the edge of a pond. Further along the path two fishermen return home with their nets. In the distance we see other characters and a fortified village then in the background there are mountains. 19th century gilded frame. Former label of an expertise firm.
