Enamel box with white background decorated with five animated scenes in monochrome representing shepherds, cowherds, domestic animals, musicians, village and ancient ruins in rustic cartouches, gilded metal frame. The dimensions and shape of the box are probably not intended for tobacco. Battersea production around 1760 in good condition, the lid shows a trace of filling and cracks in the enamel.
