Lovely portrait of a lady of quality of the eighteenth century.

The young woman with big blue eyes is represented with a leopard ornament, fashionable in the paintings of that time.

This pastel on paper is from the Louis XV period.

The work in very good condition (some small benign spots) is protected under glass.

It is sold with a gilded frame, decorated with a posterior “bérain” (small gaps on the edge).

Of beautiful quality this charming portrait reminds me of the faces painted by François Boucher. A beautiful discovery remains to be made to the one who will know to whom to attribute it.
