"Wine Taste In Sterling Silver, Early 19th Century"
This solid silver wine taster is decorated with a frieze of vines on one side and gadroons on the other, the grip is made up of two snakes, their tails run along the edges of the cup and their heads clash to form the socket ring. It bears engraved on the edge the name of its former owner: F. SERVOINGT. It is struck with the hallmark representing the second rooster for the departments, the Master Goldsmith hallmark shows the letters M and G on each side of a hammer in a diamond. Weight 47 gr.
