Jacques Yves Paul Dieÿ is a French painter born June 28, 1892 in the 8th arrondissement of Paris[1] and died July 22, 1984 in Montluçon. Yves Dieÿ is above all a portraitist. He has a particular gift for bringing out the soul of models and giving an exceptional expression to the eyes and lips[ref. necessary].
