"Giuseppe Zanazio (1855-1924) Oil On Canvas Painting Painting Young Peasant Child With Spade"
Magnificent landscape with the central character of a young farmer with a bucket in his hand, the spade on his shoulder, the cap on his head, the fine details of which you will appreciate. This work is very well treated, in an original way; very beautiful colors, a whole variation of greens, from soft green to pine green, mauve, from the lightest to the darkest to represent an embankment. In the background two other children, this time playing at the water's edge. The painting is signed lower left "G. Zanazio", named after the artist of Italian origin who became a naturalized Frenchman. This oil on canvas is particularly well highlighted by its high quality stuccoed gilded wood frame. Colored merchant's stamp stenciled on the canvas: "FABque DE COULEURS FINES & CANVAS A TABLEAUX / P. APRIN / 43 RUE DE DOUAI, 43 / PARIS". P. Aprin - Maison Aprin 1880 - 1898. Dimensions: 40 cm x 55 cm 60 cm x 75 cm with the frame The whole is in very good condition. Many other objects to discover in my stand at the antique fairs in which I participate.
