"Daniel Octobre Oil On Canvas Signed Female Nude Art Deco 1932"
Very beautiful work is an Art Deco style oil on canvas signed Daniel Octobre and dated 1932. This Parisian artist has a certain recognition for the quality of his representations of women / female nudes around which he specializes. He also won the Prix de Rome in 1928 and the Légion d'Honneur in 1955. Here in a Japanese-style Art Deco universe, a dreamy woman reclining covered in a sheet holds a pose with a French garden in the background. The universe is particularly well felt. The frame is made of blackened and gilded wood, dimensions: 120 cm x 82 cm.
