This curved chest of drawers on the front opens with two drawers without crosspieces inlaid with flowers in cartouches on a rosewood background, and richly framed with rocaille interlacing in gilded bronze on an amaranth background.
The sides, also curved, are decorated with flowers on a rosewood background and framed by rocaille interlacing in gilded bronze on an amaranth background.
The uprights of the front legs are curved, inlaid with rosewood, framed with amaranth. Falls, clogs and rods in gilt bronze.
Its top, in Breche D'Alep marble, molded on its sides with a double-grooved corbin beak.
Stamped by Christophe Wolff (1720-August 10, 1795), received master on December 10, 1755.
This cabinetmaker is distinguished by his qualities of execution. He also shows real talents of marquetry.
