Kashan rug in kork wool hand-knotted in Iran, measuring 123 cm wide by 190 cm long.
This beautiful model with a pointed niche decoration in the shape of a dominique, with twin columns and trees of life, has a highly ornate decoration. . Numerous trees of life, bouquets of flowers, birds, columns decorate the decor.
The whole is perfect in its composition and the greatest care has also been taken to the very beautiful border.
These rugs, with large niche decoration, are not intended for prayer, placed as interior decoration in Iranian homes or many homes around the world. The general condition is perfect, there is no pile reduction, the fine Kork wool used is of first quality.
The colors are fresh, soft and delicate. The deep shades, red, blue, almond green, wine go perfectly with ivory supporting many other colors.

During the Persian Renaissance, Kashan was the center of carpet production of legendary splendor.
Finely woven carpets, of very rich composition, were knotted by the royal factory of Shah Abbas.
They have become the centerpieces of museums and private collections.
Craftsmanship was interrupted in Kashan between the Afghan invasion (1722) and the end of the 19th century.
The revival of carpet production began with carpets which are distinguished by the superior quality of the wool giving an extremely velvety appearance. These examples are called Kashan Motashemi, named after the most famous master weaver of the late 19th century.
The settings are varied and meticulously crafted: hunting scenes, figured subjects inspired by Persian mythology, birds in a plant setting, trees of life. Thanks to the superior quality of the wool, their tight knotting, the beauty of their natural colors and their designs, Kashan took their place among the best Persian carpets.
