"Vase "le Jour" Signé L. Moreau"
Gorgeous Art Nouveau pewter vase, created by Louis Auguste Moreau (1855-1919).The vase is named "The Day" and is part of a pair, the second being called "The Night," representing the man.
It features a splendid representation of a nude woman with flowing hair and drapery caught in the wind.
The flowers and nature, prominent attributes of the Art Nouveau movement, are executed with perfection.
The vase boasts a beautiful brown patina and is in perfect condition.
