Nomads draw inspiration from their environment, resulting in unique and original rugs. They are very reminiscent of Gabbeh rugs, but these are knotted tighter and have a shorter pile.
Today, they are also made in India and Pakistan, drawing inspiration from Persian motifs, while maintaining the same quality.
This rug comes from Pakistan, the wool is hand-spun, colored with natural pigments. These are hard-wearing rugs that last for many years.
Its design makes it majestic thanks to its unique polychrome colors. It could even be hung as a work of art.
Size : 266x200 cm
Condition : On the background of the carpet, the black is not totally black, it is dotted with gray and white wool, sometimes even red (in the tradition of handmade nomadic carpets) which gives it an old and worn appearance.
