"Art Deco Period Server Circa 1925"
Art deco period server circa 1925. The oval shape offers a soft and bold line typical of this period. (open 83cm/63.5cm, h 41 cm) The trays are in walnut burl framed by a cross-grain net amaranth and boxwood all dressed up by a zebrano. The recessed belt is also in burl accompanied by a large ebony net. It contrasts with the two fine threads (also in ebony) which perfectly match a curved solid mahogany base. In the center of the painting, a leafy rose marquetry enhances the whole. Buffer varnish. Rare piece.
