"Louis XIV Period Mirror In Golden Wood "amours" Late 17th Century"
Spectacular mirror in carved gilded wood from the Louis arm. The angles and the frame around the mirror are richly sculpted with flowers and designs finely marked with interlacing foliage. Later period beveled mercury glass showing some slight traces and golden flakes due to its age. Dimensions of the mirror alone: 52 x 65 cm This beautiful mirror was certainly given as a gift during a union between two large families. Beautifully proportioned and in very good condition.
