Regency Style Secretary Representing A 20th Century Chiffonnier

Elegant secretary with flap representing a chiffonier, regency style with beautiful rosewood marquetry and rosewood fillet. Note the rich ornamentation of bronzes and the presence of red Languedoc marble with a corbin beak to top the piece of furniture. Opening with four drawers and a flap on the front, we discover an interior in the same wood species with an internal shelf and two small drawers. Equipped with gilded bronze pull buttons. the flap is trimmed with fawn leather with pendulum-stamped vignettes. Presence of locks and keys in working order. Work from the Faubourg St Antoine in Paris in the tradition of the great cabinetmakers of the 18th century. Furniture presented for sale in good condition.
