Very beautiful small oil on panel from the 19th century, a French school in Barbizon, entourage of Théodore ROUSSEAU (1812-1867). The panel is unsigned but has some annotations on the back. It is slightly rounded. It has a small old gilded frame from the 19th century with beautiful gilding. It depicts a lively landscape with thatched cottages in the background. In the foreground, horses are drinking. Panel size: 18 x 26 cm
