It is engraved with "FRINGIA" on one side and a sunflower flower, a crescent moon with a human face, a sun with a human face and again a stylized sunflower flower. The sunflower flower being one of the strong symbols of the Hussars. Handle is made of wood, covered in black leather. In the middle we find a button holding the silk decorated with a stylized sunflower flower. Guard consists of a single beaded branch (typically French). The baguette mumps are decorated with lines. The long-tailed cap is decorated on the top. Exceptional gadroon sheath, in leather with three embossed red copper fittings featuring rocaille style decorations. The trimmings are connected together by brass splints cut into lace and decorated with lines. Small incidents. Sabers of this type from this period have scabbards with brass fittings, sometimes steel and more rarely copper as is the case here. By tradition, senior officers of the hussars have a saber with a curved blade from various and very often family origins.
