The long-tailed cap is decorated on the top. Exceptional gadroon sheath, in leather with three embossed red copper fittings featuring rocaille style decorations. The trimmings are connected together by brass splints cut into lace and decorated with lines. Small incidents. Sabers of this type from this period have scabbards with brass fittings, sometimes steel and more rarely copper as is the case here. By tradition, senior officers of the hussars have a saber with a curved blade from various and very often family origins.
