"Le Puy Mortar In Bronze"
Bronze medical apothecary mortar from the Puy region, France circa 1600. The mortar has an authentic dark patina and is decorated with lion masks and columns. The raised edge is decorated with a French lily strap. An interesting detail is that a lion's head is upside down.Condition: Good authentic condition Dimensions: 9.5 x 14 cm
