Flemish school, oil on canvas representing a lively Venetian palace, with a seascape in the background. Attributed to Jacob Ferdinand SAEYS & Jacob Balthasar PEETERS (XVII-XVIII). Jacobus Ferdinandus Saey & Jacob Ferdinand Saeys (1658 – after 1726), Flemish painters specializing in architectural paintings depicting gallant entertainment in an entourage of imaginary Renaissance palaces and buildings. He began his career in Flanders and worked until the end of his life in Vienna. Carved wooden frame with large leaves, gilded and patinated late 17th century. Usual restorations, very good condition overall. Canvas dimensions: 84 x 52 cm
