"Military Flintlock Pistol"
A French flintlock pistol dating from around 1720. Fitted with a walnut stock with brass fittings and a beautifully detailed trigger guard depicting an urn. The buttplate features a chiseled floral design and the stock also features a chiseled brass decoration of a classical figure. Including the original pump stick. The mechanism works correctly. The gun is marked “S Crown E” on the barrel and the lock plate reads: Pierre (Honssin) ?
Condition: Good working condition, the brass application is missing a piece and the lock is scratched. Otherwise good original condition with soem loss of wood.
