"Exceptional Louis XVI Fireplace In Statuary White Marble With Rich Bronze Decor"
Note that our copy is identical to that kept at the Nissim De Camondo Museum in Paris in the Huet salon. Exceptional and rare old Louis XVI fireplace work probably dating from the end of the 18th and beginning of the 19th century, made of white statuary marble with rich decoration of finely chiseled gilded bronzes representing macaroons over the entire length of its band and on its jambs with fluted columns surmounted by capitals ending with sparkles. This fireplace has its original set of cast iron plates in several parts. A hearth plate with marble cabochons can be made to measure depending on availability of marble. It is currently being cleaned in our workshops, soon available at our showroom
