"Portico Clock In Gilt Bronze - Empire Period "
Portico clock entirely in gilded bronze from the Empire period. In a very sober style, well representative of the porticos of the Empire period, under the Restoration the latter will generally be much more loaded. White enamel dial with Roman numerals for the hours and railway numerals for the minutes. Steel Breguet hands. Round betting movement with anchor escapement. Chiming of the hours and a half as it passes by on a period bell. Condition report: The mechanism of this clock has been completely overhauled in our workshop. This includes the complete disassembly of the movement, correction of play and wear, rectification of the pivots, cleaning, reassembly, lubrication and adjustments. This clock will be guaranteed for a period of two years. Dial with some minor defects. Note some wear on the sides of the gilding. (visible in photos)
