"Art Deco Candy Box."
Round candy box with stylized floral decoration on branches. Pressed, molded and satin glass. Carrillo France signature on the bottom. 1920s - 1930s. Height: 8.5 cm. Diameter: 15.5 cm. In the 1920s - 1930s, we find traces of the name Carrillo associated with Verreries de Normandie. This glassworks had its head office in Paris, with the company name “Lesage & Carrillo”. The “Lesage & Carrillo” Glassworks specialized in the manufacture of bottles for perfumery, cutting, frosting and decorations for luxury bottles. As period catalogs attest, Carrillo glassware was sold by the luxury lighting store “Luminax” in Paris.
