"Vintage Blue “ice Melting” Vase By Vladislav Urban, Czechoslovakia, Mid-20th Century"
Magnificent quadrangular vase model 617/25 called "Ice Melting", designed by Vladislav Urban for the Czechoslovakian glassworks Sklo Union Rosice in 1968. This thick moulded glass vase very aptly bears its name in this ice blue shade, as it looks like a sculpted fragment of an iceberg by water and wind, capturing light and diffusing it through its shapes that are both rounded and angular.
