Fireback with cut corners, from the 17th or 18th century, in perfect condition, with the arms of Anne Croix (1616-?), widow of Jean III d'Ambournay (1610-1691), iron merchant, bourgeois of Lyon. The coat of arms is surrounded by a widow's cord, the knots forming "lakes of love". Coat of arms: Party, at 1, gold, with a chevron gules, accompanied by three cakes of the same, with a frank azure quarter charged with a gold star, which is from Ambournay. On the 2nd, azure with a bore cross quartered by four crucifixes or Jerusalem crosses of gold, which would be Rubat for Anne Croix? This plaque was found in Créancey in Côtes-d'Or.
