Beautiful and rare pair of Marquise armchairs with flat backs; The walnut barrels, in very good condition, are lined in the old style and covered with a fabric from Colefax and Fowler with very minimal wear. One of the two seats is enhanced with a small mole to discover... Consulate period. Early 19th century.
